Precision and great attention

After the beautiful 2018 – 2019 – 2020 series, the 2021 vintage comes with a complicated season: frost in spring, where we save our Beaune vines with anti-freeze candles. The rest of spring is cold and rainy. Summer doesn’t really arrive, and some rain in September makes the harvest complicated. This is the kind of vintage that builds winegrowers’ character. It is a vintage of tirelessly work: limiting diseases (leaf thinning, various works in the vineyard…) and bringing in a quality harvest (a draconian sorting).
